Dead of Night: The Lullaby Collection is a compilation of songs gathered together from friends around the country. The call was sent out for lullabies, or interpretations thereof, and these jewels of sound are the ones gifted by the artists who responded. A gift unto the world itself, Dead of Night has been released on Christmas to remind us of how music IS a gift, but the greatest gift of all is sharing it with friends, and bringing people together, even if they aren't in the same location.

Lullabies have been around for as long as recorded history. Originally intended to soothe babies to sleep, they are now a reminder to anyone of any age that sometimes it is best to rest. The Night, in all its mystery and timelessness must sometimes be shed and pulled back like a veil, revealing once again the light. It is easy to hide in the shadows, but how easy is it to rise at dawn and greet the day? May this music let you peacefully dream, calming your restlessness, soothing your worried mind, like a baby in a cradle.

And remember.... No matter how bad it gets, the sun WILL rise.
